President Ahmadinejad Attends Inaugural Ceremony Of 9th Majlis

Tehran, May 27, IRNA – President Mahmud Ahmadinejad arrived in the Parliament (Majlis) to attend the inaugural ceremony of the 9th Majlis here on Sunday morning. Several high-ranking officials, foreign ambassadors and 288 newly elected MPs are participating in the event. The session will be inaugurated by recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and playing of national anthem. A message from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei will be read by the Leader's representative Ayatollah Gholam-Hossein Mohammadi Golpayegani. Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani, Chairman of Experts Assembly Ayatollah Mohammad-Reza Mahdavi-Kani, Expediency Council Chief Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, several foreign ambassadors to Iran and a number of top officials would participate in the inaugural ceremony of the 9th Majlis.
