Jalili, Ashton discuss issues of mutual interest in Istanbul

Ankara, Sept 19, IRNA – Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed jalili and European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton and head of negotiating delegation of Group 5+1 discussed issues of mutual interest in Istanbul. Jalili and Ashton talked for 40 minutes in Hotel Conrad and then attended a dinner banquet in the venue of Iran General Consulate building. The two sides did not disclose content of the discussion. Jalili, who is head of Iranian negotiating delegation, arrived in Ankara on Monday and after meeting with Ahmed Davutoglu and Recep Tayyip Erdogan departed Ankara for Istanbul to meet with Ashton.
