Justice Minister: US Backs Most Criminal Agents

Tehran, Oct 10, IRNA – Minister of Justice Morteza Bakhtiari said on Tuesday that the US that claims to be involved in the campaign against terrorism, has nurtured the most criminal individuals.
Speaking to Provincial Law Minister of Pakistan's Punjab province Rana Sana Ullah Khan here on Tuesday, Bakhtiari said, “We are witnessing today that Americans have removed the terrorist Mujahideen Khalq Organization (MKO) from their list of terrorist groups.”
He said the US misuses campaign against terrorism as a political lever.
He added that the besides imposing sanctions, including economic ones, the global arrogance has always been supporting terrorist groups.
He noted that because of adhering to principles and values of the revolution, the Islamic Republic of Iran has been subjected to the wrath of global arrogance. “In a period of 33 years, Iran has been subjected to the US sanctions and it has done everything in this period to deal a blow to the Islamic Revolution.”
Referring to 16,000 victims of terrorism, including ex-president, prime minister and the judiciary head and his companions, Bakhtiari said, “We think no country has been the target of dastardly assassinations like Iran and today, all nations have realized that the US supports terrorists.”
The Minister added that insults to the Holy Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him and His Progeny) has been an indication of the global arrogance's helplessness. “Enemies show their real nature to the world.”
He emphasized that due to Quranic tenets and Islamic injunctions, Iran is strongly withstanding any kind of injustice.
Pointing to many commonalities shared by Iran and Pakistan, Bakhtiari said, “The Iranian nation has a good mentality about the Pakistani people’s respect for the Islamic Revolution and its Leader.”
Relations between both countries are rooted in culture of both nations, said the minister, adding, “We believe that the ground should be prepared for further interactions between the two countries.”/end
