Tehran, Oct 23, IRNA – A senior official from Foreign Ministry would soon be sent to Saudi Arabia to pursue the case of a number of Iranian nationals held in Saudi jails, Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said Monday.
According to a statement by the Ministry's website, Salehi said the Ministry's director for consulate affairs would visit Saudi Arabia to hold separate talks with the country's officials about a group of Iranian citizens who were arrested allegedly for illegal entry to that country.
On October 20, Saudi coastguards arrested 14 Iranians claiming that they had illegally entered the Saudi territories.
