Iran Navy Successfully Test-fires Qader Missile On 5th Day Of Velayat 91 Drill

Jask, Hormuzgan prov, Jan 1, IRNA – Iranian Naval forces have successfully test-fired the indigenous surface (coast)-to-sea Qader missile on the fifth day of the Velayat 91 drills underway in Iran’s southern territorial waters off this Persian Gulf province. The Qader missile has successfully hit hypothetical targets of enemies, the naval drill’s spokesman Rear Admiral Amir Rastgari told IRNA. Rastegari stressed that the missile has been designed and manufactured by Iranian experts. The Iranian Navy started the six-day naval exercises on December 28 (Friday). The drill covers international waters in the Gulf of Oman, Strait of Hormuz, North of the Indian Ocean, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab el Mandeb Strait. It also carries a message of peace for Iran’s neighboring states./end
