Giant Panda to find mate in China

BANGKOK, September 8 (TNA) - Affectionately known as Lin Ping, the first female giant panda born in Thailand will go on a flight to China this September 28 to find her new breeding couple. Only after one year does she get to return home to what is known as the always-crowded Panda House in Chiang Mai Zoo. Zoo authorities will be throwing a farewell party for all panda fans starting September 21-28. A birthday party is also being arranged for Lin Ping, who is four years and four months old, before she leaves on the Thai Airways flight. (TNA)
