Parade rehearsal in honour of King’s birthday

BANGKOK, Nov 30 (TNA) - Supreme Commander Gen. Worapong Sanganet on Sunday led representatives of the three armed forces in a major rehearsal for a parade to celebrate His Majesty the King’s 87th birthday which falls on December 5. The actual parade will be held on December 2 and the public will be allowed to witness the grand ceremony joined by royal guards from 12 battalions and a cavalry battalion. Several roads including Charoen Krung, Maharaj and Phra Arthit roads, which lead to the site of the grand parade will be closed as early as 4.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday. (TNA)
