MONGOLIA RANKED 3RD AT JUDO GRAND SLAM

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Judokas of the national selected team have competed in the Tyumen Judo Grand Slam held July 18-19 in Tyumen, Russia. An international master of sports and Asian champion Ts.Monkhzaya won a gold medal in women’s under 63kg match. At the final bout, she defeated a countrywoman Ts.Tserennadmid. Two bronze medals went to judokas of Israel and Great Britain. Another Mongolian D.Altansukh IMS grabbed a bronze in men’s -66kg contest. As the team results, our national team has taken the 3rd place with one gold, one silver and one bronze medals. The Japanese have won the competitions with six gold, two silver and one bronze medals, the Russian team--a runner-up--has grabbed two gold, three silver and seven bronze medals.
