Iran FM, UN chief discuss JCPOA, regional issues

New York, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and the UN Secretary-General António Guterres have held talks over the phone on the events in Iran, Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and regional cooperation, spokesperson for the UN chief announced. The talks were held on Friday (December 2), according to Stéphane Dujarric. As the spokesperson noted, the two also discussed the prospect of ceasefire in Yemen and political solution on the crisis. Amirabdollahian and Guterres have already negotiated about developments related to the war in Ukraine.
