Work to Protect and Propagate Useful Animals in DPRK

 Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK is protecting useful animals.
Singye and Koksan counties are taking measures to increase the number of useful animals during the breeding season and providing the conditions favorable for pheasants and roe deer.
Yonsan, Phyongsan and Sangwon counties built up ranks of breeders and introduced advanced breeding methods to raise the rate of laying eggs and breeding of useful animals.
Yonthan and Sohung counties are taking measures for veterinary and anti-epizootic work and the prevention of forest fire in order to raise the survival rate of animals released in mountains while providing feed and letting animals adapt to outdoor conditions.
Rinsan County is conducting a mass movement to spruce up animal reserves and propagate useful animals.
Thanks to the efforts of the working people in the province, the number of useful animals is increasing and the sceneries of mountains and streams are getting more beautiful. -0-
