Basketball Tournament of Agricultural Workers Held in DPRK

 Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- The 15th National Basketball Tournament of Agricultural Workers took place at the Basketball Gymnasium in Chongchun Street here from August 1 to 6.
24 men's and women's teams selected in Pyongyang and all provinces competed with each other, divided into four groups respectively, and the winners of each group played knock-out matches. 
The men's team of South Hamgyong Province (the Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm) and the women's team of North Phyongan Province (the Naejung Farm in Yomju County) won the first place at the finals held on Aug. 6.
Citations, cups and medals were awarded to the units and players who proved successful. -0-
