Paddy-field Fish Breeding at Farms of South Hwanghae Province

 Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- Nearly 400 farms in South Hwanghae Province are introducing paddy-field fish breeding.
Paechon and Yonan counties are breeding fish in paddy fields of over tens of hectares respectively.
Farms in Jaeryong, Chongdan, Ongjin and Jangyon counties properly fixed the locations and sizes of paddy fields for fish farming, released fry and supplied natural and artificial feed in a scientific and technological way to enhance the productivity per hectare.
The province is making a survey of fish farming of the units which introduced paddy-field fish breeding according to cities, counties and farms and giving technical guidance at them to prove paddy-field fish breeding beneficial. -0-
