Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- All the people in the DPRK extends warm congratulations to the workers of the Nampho Shipyard who made a great contribution to strengthening the Juche-oriented naval forces by building a powerful destroyer of our own style.
Officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea visited the Nampho Shipyard and conveyed letters and aid materials to encourage its workers.
They in their letters congratulated and encouraged the officials, workers and technicians of the shipyard who are making steady progress and innovations again after putting the first destroyer of a new generation into commission for the navy, true to the grand strategic plan of the WPK.
Providing aid materials, they asked the workers and technicians of the shipyard to further boost the spirit of unconditionally carrying out the Party decisions and the spirit of self-reliance displayed by them in the days of building the destroyer and thus build more modern warships.
They stressed that the heroic struggle of the workers of the Nampho Shipyard would give further momentum to the all-people grand advance in a new stage.
Commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence extended militant greetings to the workers of the Nampho Shipyard who are upholding the Party Central Committee's plan for building an advanced maritime power with their boundless patriotic loyalty and unconditioned practice. And they told them that all the officers and men are firmly determined to more reliably defend the territorial waters, airspace and territory of the country, mindful of the intention of the workers.
Officials of the Party and power organs, working people from all walks of life and youth and schoolchildren in Pyongyang, too, expressed their excited feelings in their letters.
In the letters, they expressed their resolve to further intensify a new patriotic drive for increased production, saying that the successes made by the workers of the shipyard greatly encourage all the people across the country striving to implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the WPK.
