Prince Mohammed bin Salman Global Center for Arabic Calligraphy Opens in Madinah

   Madinah, December 23, 2025, SPA -- Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz inaugurated the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Global Center for Arabic Calligraphy on Monday, with the attendance of Minister of Culture Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan.
   In his address, the minister of culture highlighted the center's role in showcasing the importance of Arabic calligraphy and reaffirming the leadership's commitment to preserving cultural identity. He stated that the center aims to elevate Arabic calligraphy as a global medium rooted in Arab heritage and arts.
   A presentation revealed that the center will focus on developing talent and enhancing calligraphers' skills. It targets professional calligraphers and emerging talents, as well as plastic artists and researchers in Islamic arts, educational and cultural institutions, and local and international art enthusiasts.
   The center will offer programs such as artistic residencies, workshops, and curriculum development in Arabic calligraphy. It will also launch international educational initiatives to preserve cultural heritage and promote this ancient art, which exemplifies both authenticity and creativity.
