Coway Malaysia Launches First Refrigerator Series To Mark 20th Anniversary
KUALA LUMPUR, July 18 (Bernama) -- Coway Malaysia has expanded its home solution offerings with the launch of its first refrigerator series, marking a significant milestone in conjunction with the company’s 20th anniversary celebration and reinforcing its evolution beyond conventional home wellness solutions.
Malaysia has been chosen as the first market within Coway’s global ecosystem to debut the series, reflecting the brand’s continued transformation towards becoming a more comprehensive home living and lifestyle solutions provider.
Anchored by its philosophy, “We Never Compromise”, the launch underscores Coway Malaysia’s commitment to continuous innovation as it expands its offerings to meet the changing lifestyles and expectations of Malaysian households.
Coway Malaysia Group Manager of Marketing Division Janice Tan said the introduction of the Coway Refrigerator marked the company’s ambition to move beyond wellness solutions and establish itself as a more comprehensive lifestyle partner for modern homes.
“Our 20th anniversary is both a celebration of how far we’ve come and a reflection of where we’re heading next,” she said in a statement here today.
Tan said that in today’s market, consumers are increasingly sceptical of brand claims and are seeking brands they can genuinely trust.
“Therefore, the ‘without compromise’ concept carries real weight. As the Best Life Solution company, we remain committed to delivering home solutions to better support the way Malaysians live,” she said.
The new refrigerator series features two models designed to cater to different household needs, namely the Multi Door Refrigerator 551L and the Side-by-Side Refrigerator 715L, combining advanced functions with meticulous design.
The Multi Door Refrigerator 551L enhances storage flexibility with four temperature zones and a convertible system, supported by features including Triple Inverter technology and Dual Hygiene Care with metal cooling finishes.
Meanwhile, the Side-by-Side 715L refrigerator, caters to larger households, offering generous capacity alongside humidity-controlled drawers, Double Inverter technology and hygiene-focused cooling features that balances storage, performance and design.
Staying true to its holistic care philosophy, the refrigerator series incorporates maintenance-focused features, including deodorisation filter replacement and door gasket care, to support long-term cleanliness and durability.
Earlier, the series was launched at the Coway Innovation Fest at Pavilion Bukit Jalil from July 16 to 19, which featured the brand’s wider range of innovations through the Coway Home Passport trail.
Other highlights included the introduction of the latest massage chair range, BEREX Senno and Senno Plus, which are equipped with integrated health scanning functions, as well as a limited-edition collection created in collaboration with local illustrator Willwin Yang.
Visitors were also treated to The Fresh Table Live Cooking Show, where guest chefs prepared a variety of dishes ranging from local delights to international favourites, highlighting the use of fresh ingredients stored in the newly introduced refrigerator.
