Construction of Compound Granulated Fertilizer Production Base Hastened in DPRK

 Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- The construction of compound granulated fertilizer production base is progressing apace in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK, according to Rodong Sinmun.
The completion of the compound granulated fertilizer production base with a capacity of tens of thousands of tons will bring about a prospect for boosting the per-hectare yield in wheat and barley farming by mass-producing and supplying the fertilizer with nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium as the basic ingredients.
The provincial rural economy committee in charge of capital construction organized a powerful construction force and gave precedence to the supply of materials to push ahead with the 10-odd projects in a three-dimensional way and a lightening tempo, thus completing the construction work in the main in a short span of time.
The manufactory of high-tech goods under the provincial science and technology commission, the Sariwon Equipment Assembly Station, the Sariwon Boiler Factory and other units are conducting a fierce 24-7 struggle to carry out the production of custom-built equipment and the Singye Apatite Mine is hastening the project for expanding its production capacity.
