HM King holds call with HE Syrian President

Manama, Jul. 19 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held a telephone call with His Excellency Ahmed Al Sharaa, President of the Syrian Arab Republic.

His Majesty commended the deep-rooted relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Syrian Arab Republic, reaffirming Bahrain's commitment to further strengthening and expanding bilateral ties in a manner that serves the shared interests of the two countries and their peoples.

His Majesty expressed sincere wishes for the Syrian Arab Republic and its people for continued security and stability, and for sustained progress, prosperity and development.

His Majesty and President Ahmed Al Sharaa also discussed the latest regional and international developments and exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest in a way that contributes to strengthening security and stability across the region.
