Young People in Sunchon City Volunteer to Work at Worksites of Socialist Construction

 Pyongyang, July 20 (KCNA) -- Young people in Sunchon City of the DPRK volunteered to work at worksites of socialist construction.
Many youths volunteered to work at the city construction brigade with one mind to add luster to the precious word of patriotic youth in the worksites of creation and construction for urbanization, civilization and development of the countryside.
Youth league members at the city's public catering service units registered their names on the list of volunteers, hardening their will to bring the ideal and ambition of youth into full bloom on the road of prosperity of the country.
There is also a member of the youth league who volunteered to work at the raw materials base station with a resolve to devote sincere sweat and efforts in the vanguard of the struggle to implement the policy of the Workers' Party of Korea on regional development.
A meeting was held at the Sunchon City Hall of Culture on July 19 to congratulate the volunteers, with the attendance of officials concerned, youth league officials and youths.
Petition certificates were awarded to the volunteers and a congratulatory address and speeches were made.
Following a congratulatory performance, officials and young people presented bouquets to the volunteers leaving for new workplaces and encouraged them. -0-
