The Minister of Foreign Affairs receives a phone call from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Manama, August 8 / BNA / His Excellency Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received today a telephone call from His Excellency Mr. Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

During the call, the two sides discussed the strong fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the advanced level of bilateral cooperation at all levels that serves common interests and goals.

They also discussed the latest regional developments, efforts to maintain regional security and stability, and the preservation of freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, in addition to exchanging views on prospects for bilateral cooperation and coordination to enhance joint Arab action, and continuing consultations on regional and international issues discussed by the UN Security Council.
