Sadyr Zhaparov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev hold phone conversation

Bishkek, Feb. 11, 2026. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov held a telephone conversation today with his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

According to the press service of the Presidential Administration, during the talks, the parties discussed issues of further expanding and strengthening Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations of friendship, good-neighborliness, and comprehensive strategic partnership.

The heads of state noted with satisfaction the stable growth in trade between the countries, as well as the progress of joint work on major infrastructure projects, including industrial cooperation, the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, and the Kambarata-1 Hydro Power Plant.

The leaders also exchanged views on current regional issues and reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
