Nampho Municipality Effectively Utilizes Solar Energy

 Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- Nampho Municipality of the DPRK is making proactive efforts to effectively utilize solar energy.
The municipal prosecution office has created solar power generating capacity and taken technical measures to increase its utilization in close cooperation with relevant units, thus lowering the consumption of electricity supplied by the state.
The Taedonggang Electric Appliances Factory installed solar panels at its different places and has supplied electric power to its office building, cultural hall and other places.
The municipal power transmission and distribution station has rationally adjusted the angle of installation of solar panels to ensure the stable power production and create good experience in saving electricity.
Ryusa Sohae Restaurant and Namjin Restaurant have introduced the method of electricity production by solar power generation system to make good profits in their management.
Many households in the municipality are utilizing solar energy resources.
Meanwhile, the municipality is stepping up preparations for building a solar power station in close cooperation with relevant units. -0-
