PRESIDENT NAMES SRI MULYANI ACTING CHIEF ECONOMIC MINISTER
Jakarta, June 14 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has officially appointed Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati as acting chief economic minister to replace Boediono.
"The president has signed a decree appointing Finance Minister Sri Mulyani as acting coordinating minister for economic affairs to replace Boediono," Cabinet Secretary Sudi Silalahi said here on Saturday as he was about to leave for Bali to accompany President Yudhoyono.
The president signed the decree on Thursday night, Silalahi said.
Boediono was installed as Bank Indonesia (the central bank) governor on May 22, replacing Burhanuddin Abdullah.
