Iranian culture minister attends European Capital of Culture ceremony in Istanbul
ISTANBUL, Jan. 16 (MNA) -- Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini attended the opening ceremony of the 2010 European Capital of Culture in Istanbul on Saturday.
Hosseini attended the event following an invitation from his Turkish counterpart Ertugrul Günay and was officially welcomed by the Turkish official at Istanbul’s airport.
