Iran's Qom metro project gets underway
TEHRAN, Jan. 16 (MNA) – The construction of subway in the central city of Qom started on Friday.
The first line of the subway to the length of 13.5 kilometers would cost 9.4 trillion rials (around $940 million) to be completed within five years, the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network reported.
Some other projects, including a non-level crossing and two main streets, were also kicked off in the city. The projects are estimated to cost $20 million.
