Meeting on six intl mediators for Iran yields no result-Ryabkov.

NEW YORK, January 17 (Itar-Tass) - The meeting of the six
international mediators for Iran has yielded no result, Russian Deputy
Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Saturday.
He stressed that the meeting participants were discussing mainly the
issue of the introduction of sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
Ryabkov said that the 'six' has made no decisions on sanctions against
Iran. He also noted that "the desire of the Western participants in the
'six' to begin the process of the development of a new sanction resolution
is obvious to all." "I think that we have approached such a threshold when
the Western participants in the 'six' will begin to take specific steps in
this direction," he added.
