Iran Six did not coordinate next meeting date - RF Deputy FM.
NEW YORK, January 17 (Itar-Tass) - Members of the Iran Six at their
meeting have not coordinated the date of the next meeting, Russian Deputy
Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told Itar-Tass. "The question now is not
who and when meets, in principle," he said.
The diplomat noted that "the most important now is not to exchange
rhetoric and make a show of eloquence, but the question is how to attain
results and how to finally find a form and such solutions that would be
attractive for Iran."
Besides, according to Ryabkov, the future solutions "should satisfy
also members of the 'Six' from the viewpoint of the tasks that had long
ago been set in the UN Security Council resolutions and in statements of
the 'Six' that during that period have been made, including at the
ministerial level."

NEW YORK, January 17 (Itar-Tass) - Iran is not evading the dialogue
and is confirming its interest in its continuation, Russian Deputy Foreign
Minister Sergei Ryabkov told Russian journalists here on Saturday after a
meeting of the Iran Six mediator group.
"We should continue, despite everything, to seek such a deep,
meaningful and result-oriented dialogue with the Iranian side," he
stressed. Iran has lately been "demonstrating the desire to modify its
position on some issues" and "is not evading the dialogue," the Russian
diplomat continued. Moreover, Tehran "confirms its interest in conducting
the dialogue, including with the International Atomic Energy Agency
(IAEA)," Ryabkov added.
"It is necessary to catch all these opportunities, they should not be
shadowed by some sanctions discussions, it is necessary to use all the
available chances to the maximum," the RF deputy foreign minister noted.

Search for scientist missing in East Sayan Mnts continues.
ULAN-UDE, January 17 (Itar-Tass) - The search for a researcher of the
Novosibirsk Geology Mineralogy Institute Alexander Ryabykin who went
missing in the East Sayan Mountains is continuing for the fourth day. A
total of 27 rescuers are taking part in the operation.
"The helicopter is no longer used, because there is no need in it.
Messages that the scientist left on his route have been found. Rescuers
are now following on the route to the Zun-Khandagai pass, in accordance
with the messages' leads," the press service of the Russian Emergency
Situations Ministry's main department for the Buryatia republic.
The 27-year-old scientist did not return from his trip on the
appointed date - January 11. The information about the incident came from
the Novosibirsk Institute only on January 14 in the morning. Only then the
search operation was launched. The scientist did not pas registration with
the rescues service of Buryatia.
