MONGOLIA MAKES EFFORT TO POPULARIZE RENEWABLE ENERGY

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ "Mongolia is making efforts to contribute to popularizing the renewable energy in the world. Mongolian parliament approved the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) Statute", Mongolia's Deputy Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy T.Enkhtaivan has said.
At his meeting run January 17 with IRENA General Director Ms Helene Pelosse during the 3rd session of Preparatory Commission for IRENA in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Enkhtaivan said Mongolia is actively participating in operation of IRENA and is working to contribute popularizing the use of renewable energy in the world.
During this session, IRENA Signatories will adopt the 2010 Work Programme and Budget, as well as the interim financial, staff, and secondment rules of the Commission.
