US TOUR COMPANY OFFERS OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND MONGOLIA'S FESTIVALS

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ An American tour operator company is making effort to attract travelers to watch Mongolia's unique festivals such as Naadam National Holiday and Golden Eagle Festival.
This year will be the first time in 24 years that US MIR Corporation, a tour operator specializing in travel to the crossroads of Europe and Asia, is offering travelers the chance to see three different cultural festivals in its regions: Western Mongolia's Golden Eagle Festival, Bulgaria's Rose Festival, and the unmatched extraorindary Naadam Festival of Mongolia's capital, Ulaanbaatar.
In introducing its newest tour offering, Mongolia’s Golden Eagle Festival, September 27 – October 6, 2010, MIR builds on its reputation for travel in Mongolia’s outback, searching out new experiences for adventurous travelers. At the Golden Eagle Festival in Mongolia’s remote, westernmost region, the speed and agility of the eagles and the bond between hunter and bird is tested and celebrated. The opening ceremony begins with a parade to highlight the craftsmanship of the traditional costumes and hunting gear and continues with an evening performance in honor of the participants. The next day's competition finds the eagles attacking fox skins dragged by their trainers, with judges evaluating their skill at hitting the target, their diving speed and gripping technique. It’s a truly unique cultural experience.
MIR whose name means "peace" and "world" in Russian, has specialized in tours to Russia (and neighboring countries) for 23 years.
