Iranian film to compete in Norwegian festival
TEHRAN, Jan. 18 (MNA) -- Shahram Alidi’s “Whisper with the Wind” will compete at the Tromso International Film Festival which will be held from January 18 to 24 in Norway.
The film tells the story of a warmhearted old man who for many years traveled between the mountainous villages in Kurdish Iraq, recording and delivering messages from families separated by war.
One day he gets a request from a high-ranking commander, who asks him to make a recording of his newborn child’s first cry, and his journey to a far-off valley begins.
