PEFINDO REAFFIRMS "IDA-" RATINGS FOR BPSS
Jakarta, June 16 (ANTARA) - Indonesia's rating agency Pefindo reaffirmed the "idA-" ratings for the bound I/2003 of Rp97.5 billion of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Selatan (BPSS ? South Sumatra Regional Development Bank) due on July 11, 2008.
BPSS would be able to settle its bound which would be due soon, because the bank had adequate funding sources in the forms of cash and Bank Indonesia Certificates (SBI), according to Pefindo in its press statement here on Monday.
Per December 2007, the Bank had a cash of Rp130.9 billion and SBI of Rp2.4 trillion, Pefindo said.
Up to now, the South Sumatra provincial administration is the majority share holder of the bank with the ownership of 45.94 percents, meanwhile the remaining 54.06 percents are owned by several district administrations in South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung.
