CONSULTATION DISCUSSES DEVELOPMENT OF SPORTS SCHOOLS

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ A consultation themed "Present situation and future of physical culture and sports secondary schools" began Wednesday. It has been co-organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the State Department of Physical Culture and Sports and some related schools.
The two-day consultation is being attended by some 150 representatives--authorities, teachers, coaches of sports schools, experts, scholars and heads of aimags' sports and physical culture. They are discussing a refining of the structure of training young sportsmen who are to replace highly skilled ones and a promotion of activities of the city-based secondary schools and institutes of sports and physical culture.
A development of material base has been considered as well.
