$2b credit line for industry: Iranian minister
TEHRAN, Jan. 20 (MNA) – The minister of industries and mines said a $2 billion credit line has been approved for the development of domestic industries.
Addressing the unveiling ceremony of Iran’s first diesel-burning light pick-up truck in Tehran on Tuesday, Ali-Akbar Mehrabian said that the credit has been envisioned in the next year's national budget bill.
The figure is in dollars and has been handed over to Bank of Industry and Mine to be used to meet a portion of the domestic industry's needs, he said.
The minister pointed out that following the issuance of this directive the Central Bank of Iran is obliged to secure the sum from its internal resources.
