Russian rescuers ready to leave Haiti
PORT-AU-PRINCE, January 22 (Itar-Tass) -- Russian rescuers are ready
to leave Haiti and have already dismantled their tent camp.
"Our group saved nine people from under the debris. Is it a lot or
not? I can hardly say, as sometimes it may take a whole day to find and
rescue a survivor," chief rescuer Salavat Mingashev told Tass.
The aircraft that will take rescuers back to Russia are expected to
arrive shortly.
