Iranian documentarian selected for Vesoul festival jury
TEHRAN, Jan. 23 (MNA) -- Iranian documentarian Marjan Riahi was selected to sit on the jury of the Network for the promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) Section of the Vesoul 16th International Film Festival of Asian Cinema.
Riahi is the founder and manager of Short Film News (SFN), the first news network specializing in documentaries and short films in Iran and Asia.
The festival will screen the Iranian films Farhad Mehranfar’s “Paper Airplanes”, Babak Jalali’s “Frontier Blues” and Sara Rastegar’s “Seven Femmes”.
Films coming from all over Asia will be shown in seven sections at the festival which will be held from January 26 to February 2.
