Shiraz to host Fajr Intl. Film Festival with 24 films
TEHRAN, Jan. 24 (MNA) -- Shiraz will also be hosting the Fajr Film Festival this year with the screening of 24 Iranian and foreign movies.
The festival, opening on January 27 in several different cinemas, will be screening seven foreign movies besides a number of Iranian productions, said director of Shiraz Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mansur Tabiei.
This is the ninth edition of Shiraz Fajr Film Festival, he said, adding that question and answer panels are scheduled to be held following each screening.
We intend to invite Deputy Culture Minister for Cinematic Affairs Javad Shamaqdari for the closing ceremony, he remarked.
