AMBASSADOR MEETS KALMYK DELEGATION
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Ambassador of Mongolia to the Russian Federation D.Idevkhten met January 22 with Permanent Representative of Kalmykia to the Russian Federation and First Deputy of the Prime Minister of Kalmyk Republic A.Orlov to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation.
Beginning the meeting, Mr Idevkhten thanked Orlov for visiting the Embassy of Mongolia and underlined that the bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Russia have been promoting within complex strategic partnership. He emphasized that Mongolia, attaching more importance to its relations with Kalmykia, appointed its Consul in Elista. The Ambasador said that he is "full of confidence that close business cooperation between Embassy of Mongolia to Russia and Permanent Representative Office of Kalmykia to the Russian Federation will enhance bilateral relations and cooperation".
In turn, Mr Orlov informed that Kalmykia Leader K.Illyumjinov is to visit Mongolia as a president of the International Chess Federation. He briefed about activity and functions of its Permanent Representative Office and mentioned about important events to take place in Kalmykia in coming years. Mr Orlov invited Mongolia's Ambassador to participate in these measures.
