TWO DIE OF DENGUE FEVER IN LUMAJANG

Lumajang, East Java Province, Jan. 26 (ANTARA) - Two residents of Lumajang died of dengue fever up to January 26 this year.

"The number of dengue fever sufferers in Lumajang up to the fourth week of January 2010 has reached 76 people, and two of them, both children, were dead," dr. Buntaran Supriyadi, head of the Lumajang district health service, said here on Tuesday.

Since the rainy season in December, the number of dengue fever patients have continued to increase, he said.
