MNCCI TO COOPERATE WITH KHAN BANK FOR GREEN BUSINESS

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with three of the major banks of Mongolia, namely the Khan Bank, the Golomt Bank and the Khas Bank.
The Government of Mongolia announced 2010 as "Year of Business Environment Improvement", while the MNCCI announced 2010 as "Year of Green Economy-Green Business Development". In relation to those, the Chamber and the three banks will collaborate making efforts to support ecologically clean and environmentally-friendly businesses by launching innovative new products and services tailored for above businesses and providing financial supports thereunder.
During the inauguration ceremony held January 25 for the Year of "Green Business" and "Green Economy", the MNCCI and the Khan Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement "Green Environment-Our Future" program in 2010.
The purpose of this program, initiated by the two parties, is to make contribution to the environmental protection efforts by developing habits among children and youth on how to protect the nature and properly utilize the natural resources.
