ULAANBAATAR AND TIANJIN TO DEVELOP COOPERATION
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The 3rd meeting of the joint working group on widening economic and trade cooperation between Ulaanbaatar city and China's Tianjin began Tuesday in Ulaanbaatar.
The joint group was founded in respect of a memorandum which was established during a visit of Mongolia's Premier to China last year. At the previous meetings, the sides reached agreements on several projects to be implemented by the Mongolian side and on letting Mongolia to carry out activities in Tianjin Dongjiang Free Trade Port Zone. The sides also agreed to establish a state budgetary factory "Ulaanbaatar city's Representative Office" in Tianjin city.
Specific issues are being discussed at the 3rd meeting such as carrying out transport, small- and middle-sized service in the Dongjiang's zone, letting Mongolia own at least 150 hectares area for 50 years for preserving and selling meat and meat products, and leasing 160 hectares area for storing and vending crude oil, coke and coal.
The sides are going to consider and make decisions on exporting meat and meat products to other countries, developing cooperating in the agricultural sector, transporting mining products to Nanjing seaport and processing and selling the products, developing production and other issues.
