INTER-MINISTERIAL CONSULTATIVE MEETING HELD
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ An inter-ministerial meeting has been held at the Foreign Ministry on issues concerning the implementation of the program on economization of the foreign relations that was approved by the Government of Mongolia in October last year.
Attended by officials of ministries and related authorities, the meeting was addressed by the Foreign Minister G.Zandanshatar. He stressed that according to the guidelines for regulating foreign relations, particularly foreign economic relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade focuses on the improvement of working interactions of state institutions and on the adherence to the "one-window" policy.
Reports were delivered on the themes of "Program on economization of foreign relations" and "Improve a publicity to attract foreign investments" by the Director of the Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Department of the Foreign Ministry S.Javkhlanbaatar and the head of the Foreign Investment Agency B.Ganzorig, respectively.
The meeting resulted in releasing a recommendation on the implementation of the program on economization of foreign relations that is charted, on one hand, to further economic aspects of the diplomatic activities and, on the other hand, to using channels of foreign ties for the economic development. Thereby, an aim is pursued to utilize the foreign relations as one of major factors of the development.
