AvtoVAZ launches new modified car production.

SAMARA, January 29 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia's debt-ridden car producer
AvtoVAZ launched the production of a modified and more powerful Lada
Kalina automobile.
The press center of the company said on Thursday the production of
Lada Kalina sedans with 1.6-liter 98 HP 16-valve engines had begun.

The recommended price for the new modification is close to 11 thousand
US dollars (322.824 rubles).
The maximum speed of the new modification upped to 183 kilometers per
hour against 165 and the average fuel consumption is 7.2 liters per 100
kilometers. The car corresponds to Euro-3 requirements.
