FAREWELL CEREMONY TO RUN FOR WINTER ATHLETES
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ First part of Mongolia's national team for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games is to leave for Canada on February 4. In connection with this, Mongolia's National Olympic Committee (MonNOC) will organize a farewell ceremony on February 2.
Fro the upcoming event that will take place at the Olympic House (Headquarters of the MonNOC) invited are Sh.Magvan, a Member of Honor of the International Olympic Committee (IOC); L.Khaltar, Charge de Affairs of the national team for the Winter Olympics; representatives of the State Department of Sports and Physical Culture (SDSPhC); and some athletes and coaches. The MonNOC also has invited state leaders.
Mongolia will be represented by Kh.Khash-Erdene (men's cross country skiing, 15 km) and E.Ochirsuren (women's cross country skiing, 10 km). They are coached by L.Dorj, a State Honored Coach. Mongolia's athletes will start competitions on February 15 in accordance with the official schedule. They will locate in the Olympic village in Whistler, resort town near Vancouver city.
