DEMPARTY'S DELEGATION TO ATTEND IDU FORUM


Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ A delegation of the Democratic Party (DP) has left Sunday for Taipei to take part in a forum of the International Democrat Union (IDU) to be held February 1-2.
The delegation comprises D.Erdenebat, a Secretary-General of the DP, and D.Galbaatar, a governor of Arkhangai aimag's Tsakhir soum. The first day of the forum includes D.Erdenebat's report on present situation of democracy in Mongolia and its further goals. The governor of Tsakhir soum is to attend a seminar Wednesday to be arranged with the International Young Democrat Union after the forum, in order of represent the smallest unit of the DP for the first time.
Traditionally, the IDU's forum is to bring together delegates of democratic parties of some 80 countries. Mongolia has been regularly attending the forum from 1994 as a member.
