OBSERVANCE OF GUS DUR'S 40TH DEATH ANNIVERSARY

Solo, Feb 1 (ANTARA)- Artists and cultural elite as well as other members of the society of Solo City are scheduled to commemorate the 40th day of the death of former Indonesian President Abdurrahman Wahid, or Gus Dur, on February 8, 2010.

The great occasion will be great honor and the highest appreciation to Gus Dur for his role in building this country, the event coordinator Ki Slamet Gundono said here Monday.

Gus Dur was a figure with very great ideas and had deeply impressed many circles.
