BALI POLICE MERELY ISSUE TICKET TO FERARRI
Denpasar, February 1 (ANTARA) - The Bali police could not do much against the three Ferarri fancy cars which only have form B but not yet reported to the local traffic police station.
"The police could only take legal action, in the form of issuing a ticket to the owner of the three luxury cars," Bali's traffic police chief Senior Commissioner Bambang Sugeng said here Monday.
During a hearing with the Bali local legislative assembly's Commission I, he said the pretense of the three Ferarris in Bali was legally correct. Their owner was in possession of form B as a condition to own the luxury cars in Bali.
"The only thing that we can do is issuing a ticket," Bambang pointed out.
Thus, Bambang said, the three Ferarris can no longer be driven on the streets. After receiving a ticket, each of the cars had to pay a fine of only Rp60,000.
This had caused confusion to the Bali council members, because the Bali police fined each car only Rp 60 thousand, which is far lower than their annual tax.
