SOME 85 BRITISH TOURISTS VISIT SUMENEP

Sumenep, Madura, Feb 2 (ANTARA) - A total of 85 British tourists visited a number of tourist objects in Sumenep regency, Madura, East Java province, Tuesday.

They had visited the local royal palace of Sumenep, Grand Mosque, and Slopeng beach.

"We have also introduced to the foreign tourists our culture, traditional art, and local delicacies," head of the Sumenep Cultural, Tourism, Youth and Sports Agency, Mohammad Nasir said here.

For the first time, he said, the foreign tourists enjoyed a bull race at the Giling stadium, Kota subdistrict.

Later the British tourists visited the Palace and Semenep Grand Mosque in Kota subdistrict.
