RUPIAH STRENGTHENS AGAINST US DOLLAR

Jakarta, Feb. 3 (ANTARA) - The rupiah strengthened against the US dollar in the Jakarta interbank spot market here on Wednesday morning on a Wall Street rebound.

The Indonesian currency traded Rp9,330-Rp9,345 per US dollar, up 20 points from Rp9,350-Rp9,365 per US dollar at the market's close a day earlier.

The rupiah's appreciation was boosted by the strengthening of thw euro against the US dollar, according to Dony, corporate secretary of PT Bank Mega Tbk.
