PERTAMINA INCREASES ITS CAPITAL EXPENDITURE
Jakarta, Feb 4 (ANTARA) - Indonesia's state oil company, PT Pertamina, has increased its capital expenditure from Rp37 trillion to Rp46 trillion this year.
"We do that to make our capital expenditure more aggressive," Director of the oil company's financial division Federick Siahaan told newsmen before attending a hearing with members of the House of Representatives' (DPR) Commission VIII here Thursday.
The issuance of one-billion-US dollar international bonds in the first semester of 2010 was one of the resources for the increase of this year's capital expenditure, he said.
"About thirty five to forty percent of the financial resources came from Pertamina," he said.
Pertamina had appointed Citibank, Credit Suisse, and HSBC as the bond underwriters, Siahaan said.
