Yemen, Australia talk on trade ties

Canberra, June 21 (Saba) - Industry and Trade Minister Yahya
al-Mutawakel met on Thursday in Canberra with Western Australian
Agriculture and Food Minister Kim Chance.

During the meeting, al-Mutawakel and Chance discussed the
possibilities of extending trade between Yemen and Australia,
particularly increasing the exporting quantities o fwheat and grains
to Yemen.

Cooperation and coordination between the two official sides of the
two countries and possibilities of making use of Yemen from support
and facilities providing by Australian government and specialized
companies of exporting foodstuffs, in particular wheat and flour
were also discussed.

Australian officials confirmed their country's readiness to provide
Yemen with training programs specialized in agricultural
technicians.

A number of Australian companies managers attended the meeting.
