Yemeni, Gulf investors to set up cement $250 mln factory
Sana'a, June 21 (Saba)- Yemeni and Gulf investors are going to
establish a cement factory in Dhamar province south of the capital
Sana'a at the cost of $250 million.
Head of Yemeni Authority of Geological Survey and Mineral Wealth
Ismail al-Janad said that the authority had issued 30 licenses for
local, gulf, and foreign investors to investment in cement industry.
Al-Janad pointed out that a number of Yemeni and gulf investors
would set up the cement factory and a project of generating
electricity, adding the two projects would absorb more than 1000 of
local workers.
